Amy Stork, principal

My projects and clients reflect the diversity of my interests; they are united in their focus on creating a more sustainable future through altering the behavior patterns of individuals and businesses. Most of my work is based in the principles of Community Based Social Marketing outlined by Doug Mohr in his seminal book "Fostering Sustainable Behavior."

Combining over a decade of experience in marketing, non-profit development, public relations and event planning with a profound dedication to creating positive change, I bring my clients exceptional value. I share your passions; know how to work within budget constraints; and can skillfully leverage community connections and partnerships to achieve results.

I enjoy the constant challenge of new projects and the creation of a living web of community through each new effort. Self-employment gives me the flexibility to align my life with my values through personal and community commitments. I do not own an automobile, and use a bicycle for transportation 90 percent of the time. I am committed to growing much of my own food and supporting local businesses. I am actively engaged in forming an urban co-housing community founded on principles of cooperation and sustainability. And I dedicate substantial volunteer effort as a transportation activist.
